The Welsh Proms

Founded by Owain Arwel Hughes, The Welsh Proms takes place in Cardiff each summer at the national concert hall of Wales, St David's Hall. The festival annually features some of the world's top orchestras, soloists and conductors and continues to be one of the focal points in the cultural
calendar of the Welsh capital.
Taking place from 19 to 26 July, the 2014 Welsh Proms included a wide variety of performances including a number of free events, family performances as well as large scale orchestral concerts from the BBC National Orchestra of Wales, Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra, Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra and the magnificent Last Night of the Welsh Proms.
