The Welsh Proms Cymru

Postponed from 2020, due to the covid-19 pandemic, July 17th to 24th 2021 will see the 35th season of the Welsh Proms Cymru, Wales' national classical music festival take place at the national concert hall of Wales, St David's Hall, Cardiff. Full details of the season will be released in Spring 2021. Details of previous events can be found below

The 2019 Welsh Proms featured five grand scale concerts, all directed by Owain Arwel Hughes CBE, plus a series of additional events, full details of which are available via the Welsh Proms website www.welshproms.com

Featured artists of the 2019 Welsh Proms, which was supported by the Welsh Government, Classic FM and a number of additional leading partners, included the BBC National Orchestra of Wales, Welsh National Opera Orchestra, Massed Bands & Massed Male Choir, soloists Susan Bullock CBE, Sophie Evans, Wynne Evans and more, together with the world premiere performances of works by Welsh composers Mervyn Burtch and Christopher Wood. 

As outlined, full information on the 2021 Welsh Proms will be made available following the 2021 Media Launch, with tickets available from St David's Day, March 1st.
